Wake refreshed in a comfortable bed with fresh sheets, cross a rug laden wooden floor, open a door and step into a view from a poem. The yurt has a standard double, twin singles and room for two more on the floor so bring the whole family.
Once you park your car you won’t have to start it again until you need to leave. You can walk everywhere if you choose to. From Waterfalls & Woods, Peaks, Lakes, Crags & Caves, Pubs, Restaurants & Tea Rooms, Museums, Gallery’s, Ruins, Monuments & Heritage galore. There’s even an adventure playground on site for children. Rydal is five minutes walk away, Ambleside’s half an hour stroll and Grasmere an hour… through the most idyllic countryside to be found in the entire UK.

Our yurts are very well insulated and with the waist high wood burning stove /oven they are really warm all year round. Our yurts are open all year round so you can enjoy the charms of each and every season.
