Full Circle Yurts is run by Ben Atkinson with the occasional help from his two boys. Ben first fell in love with yurts when running summer camps for local children as part of an Eden Community Outdoors outreach program. It was love at first sight. It took three years of research and planning to bring Full Circle into reality. Now several years into the experience there is an abundance of guests rebooking and spreading word of the experience to make it a really popular destination. Please do book in advance to save disappointment!
Ben is also a tree surgeon and fireman in the locality. He recycles the wood generated by the tree surgery into fuel to give you an plentiful supply of logs during you stay. He loves to meet and greet you personally and share his love and commitment to the surrounding countryside (so long as you don't arrive too late - he is a family man). He has a wealth of information about walks from the yurts and entertaining snippets of history but in particular loves to encourage swimming in the lakes and waterfalls. He knows all the best watering holes in the locality. Do pick his brains if you've got it in you to take the plunge.
