Rydal is the perfect location for a ‘car free’ walking holiday. In today’s climate with more and more people taking positive steps towards cutting down their emissions, this is becoming very popular. Explore some of the most beautiful hill walks in the country and come back to a wood burning fire and /or an outdoor fire in the brassier to enjoy the views. For your efforts of leaving your car at home we’ll even give you a 10% discount and pick you up from the nearest train station if required! Families / Friends and Re-unions
The ‘roundness’ of the Yurt is a fantastic space for a gathering of friends or family. Ever wondered what it would be like to gather your family or closest friends together for a good catch up, time to reflect on the past enjoy each others company and share future plans.
We can’t think of a better place for it than in the ‘full circle’ yurt. It will certainly be a dinner party conversation for years to come. All it takes is somebody to arrange it and the memories are kept forever.
Honeymoons
If you or somebody you know fancies something a bit different for their honeymoon without loosing that touch of romance, ‘round – living’ is the thing. We are very flexible and would love to go that extra mile to make the space just as you’d like it. With the views from your door and the waterfalls next door you couldn’t ask for more. Please let me know of any extra requirements: champagne, decorations, newly wed hamper or breakfast delivered to the door! We would be only to pleased to help make it a truly magical memory. Of course there’s always kayaking, climbing and mountain biking if you have any energy left!!
The Yurt Retreat
Spending some time alone away from all distraction and responsibilities can do us the world of good. Just stop for a while a listen to your own thoughts or let them pass you by. Let your time unfold naturally without deadlines and enjoy the ‘round living’ in a warm safe space.
Outdoor activity holidays
This year has seen a number of different folk enjoying the Yurt Holiday. Not only has it appealed to couples needing a little time alone together but also families making the most of the adventure playground and wildlife on site to keep the kids amused whilst the grown ups relax.
We have had groups of mountain bikers stay for the cosy social space that it provides after an exhilarating days cycling. No tent or unpacking to do, just time to ride and relax. Others have booked it for a friends reunite space or simply to have a fantastic ‘car free’ holiday.
